MMSdance has been training dancers in the LA and Orange County areas for over 50 years. Based in Long Beach, we pride ourselves in providing an excellent well rounded curriculum including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Creative Movement, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Conditioning, and Pilates.

The art of dance can be enjoyed by anyone. We offer classes for ages 2 1/2-Adult, beginners to professionals.

Dance increases muscle tone and cardiovascular strength. In addition to health benefits, dance develops poise, grace, posture, rhythm, and concentration.

We got a great deal on classes with the livingsocial coupon and we couldn't be happier with this place. Our daughter loves it here and can't wait to be a part of what will be her first recital! She 6 and takes the jazz/tap combo and she loves her teacher and made some friends.

The staff is great, professional and very kind. I appreciate this since the last place we took her to was not so great in that department.

It has only been about a month, but I am a huge fan...

The best show I have seen all year!...That's how I would describe about 30 kids doing "Attitude Checks" during their hiphop routine! Tooo Cute!!!
I registered my 6 year old son in the Hiphop class on Saturdays. Although he takes Tae Kwon Do, his first experience at a dance studio was scary since most of the children had already been practicing the routine and knew what to do. However, the instructor, Bea, had a way of making him feel comfortable & part of the group. She seemed to really enjoy the energy of the children and allowed them to express themselves naturally as well as teaching them the choreographed dance moves.
The staff at MMSD are awesome. Randi, the office manager, got everyone organized and ready for class quickly.
The studio is gorgeous and has big windows where you can watch your kids practice. I will be bringing my older son now & will recommend it to all of the moms I know.
